China is a vast country. It has a large population. So the Chinese new year is also celebrated very vastly. Chinese new year is a festival which is celebrated in the beginning of the year in Chinese
calendar. The Chinese new year celebration is held for 15 days. They start the celebration with the first moon in the sky.

Chinese new year 2020 will start on 25th January. So in china the Chinese new year 2020 date is 25th January. They don't celebrate new year in 1st January like the other countries.

Chinese new year is a vast holiday. It is celebrated in the first beginning day of the lunar new year. If you don't know what is lunar calendar, I am informing you that lunar calendar is the beginning of a calendar year whose months are co-ordinate with the appears of the moon in the sky. The lunar new year is celebrated in world wide by the Chinese population in Singapore, Myanmar, Indonesia and other countries.

The Chinese new year is celebrated with some rituals and myths. Now I am going to share you the unknown facts and myths and why they celebrate the new year in a different way and how they celebrate new year. In the ancient times in China there was a monster named Ni`an who lived in sea. It came out on the new year day and feast on animals and humans. So on the new year the villagers escaped to the mountain. Once Chinese new year a old man forgot to escape. When the monster came the old man was decorating his house with red cards wishing evil come out and can enter good luck in his house. Seeing this the monster could not enter in his house. Then the old man began to firing crackers. So the monster came back running with fear. So in new year day the Chinese people decorates their houses specially windows and doors with the red wishing cards. It was a unknown fact about a myth of China. On the Chinese new year eve the Chinese people gathered with their family for a holy dinner. They clean their houses to clean all evils and enter good lucks. They wears new clothes. The Chinese new year eve is celebrated with lighting and fire cracking, giving money in the red envelop. In the mid night they eat dumplings as the final dinner of the year.
